My Testimony

I'd like to bear my testimony that I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and restored the gospel so that we may live by it today. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet on our earth today and that he speaks the word of God. I know that our Savior, Brother, and Redeemer, Jesus the Christ, lives. He lives! He atoned for all our sins and bled from every pore because He loves us. He knows us by name and knows every pain that we have ever felt. He knows what we are going through and He will always be there to comfort you. He will wrap His arms around you and wipe away your tears. He will never leave you alone and will always stand by your side. He can heal our hearts and we can become perfect through him. Because of Him, we are able to repent and be forgiven of our sins so that we may return to our Father who is Heaven. There is this quote that I saw which I loved and it said, "God hates the sin, not the sinner." That quote really helped me strengthen my testimony that God loves us no matter what. If we are truly sincere and repent of our sins, God will forgive us and will remember the sin no more. Their arms are open wide and Their hand is reaching out to us. All we have to do is take it and have Faith in Them. God has a plan for each and every one of us. He knows what we're capable of. He knows our strengths, weaknesses, hopes, dreams, worries, and desires. He created us in His own image. He created ¥0U and smiled at his beautiful creation. You are special! You are a Son or Daughter of a King! There is a little piece of Him within You and He loves you dearly. I know that if you kneel down in prayer, He will listen. Although He may not answer you right away, He will answer you, but in His timing. And it may not be the answer that you want, but it'll be the answer that is best for you and your eternal well-being. I know that by going to church, seminary, and other church activities, will not only help you gain a stronger testimony, but will bless you and strengthen you for times to come. I know that trials make you stronger. God will never give you something you can't handle. He cuts you down to build you back up. To shape you into something stronger and more beautiful. He knows who you will become and through these trials, you will only learn and grow from it, but by faith may we be patient and trust in Him. Have faith in His plan, that he will help you through it and make you stronger because of it. I know that the scriptures are true and that if we seek for His guidance and counsel, He will be there to help us. I know that families are forever. That through our Savior, we may be sealed in the Temple, the House of the Lord, and be with our families for eternity to live with our Father in Heaven once again. I can't wait to start my family, to teach  and raise my kids in the Gospel which I so cherish. I love this gospel with all my heart. I would be lost without it and I wouldn't be where I am at today if it wasn't for this beautiful gospel. I know Christ lives and loves us and there is no doubt in my mind that this gospel is true. I leave my testimony with you, in the name of our Savior, even Jesus the Christ. Amen.
